April 15-17, 2008: University of the Arts, Philadelphia
Richard Minsky will be the Von Hess Visiting Artist at the Borowsky Center for Publication Arts, and will give a University-wide lecture on Tuesday the 15th at 1:00 p.m.

February 22, 2008: The Grolier Club, New York City
Symposium on the history, technology and conservation of nineteenth-century publishers' bindings, sponsored by the Guild of Book Workers, New York Chapter. Richard Minsky presents "American Decorated Publishers' Bindings, 1872-1929."

February 13, 2008: The New School, New York City
"Parallel Worlds: Explorations in Second Life". Panel discussion. 7:00 PM at the Tishman Auditorium, 66 West 12th Street. Sponsored by The Aperture Foundation.

SHARP Conference, Williamsburg, VA, July 19-22 [Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing]. Minsky presented a paper on the above subject on Sunday, July 22 at 10:30 am. Read it. He was also interviewed by The Book Guys for their National Public Radio Show, broadcast the week of July 27. 

July 2001: Art Criticism: Whose Truth?
Roundtable discussion at Long House Reserve, East Hampton, NY, July 14. Rose Slivka, Moderator. The three panelists are Michael Kimmelman, Chief Art Critic, The New York Times; B. H. Friedman, Author, early collector and biographer of Jackson Pollock, and Minsky.
