In conjunction with the 40th annicersary of the Center, which Richard founded in 1974, he is returning with two simultaneous exhibitions. Master Faculty Fellow is a mini-retrospective presented in conjunction with his teaching a master class in critical methodology titled Material Meets Metaphor; and Featured Artist Project presents work-in-progress on Notes, with a performance.

Somewhere Far From Habit, an exhibition of 10 artists' works inspired by the work of 10 poets, and other work by each artist. Premiere of Richard Minsky's new work, Freedom of Choice, inspired by the poems of Lucie Brock-Broido. In addition to the new work, The Bill of Rights Edition was on view.

He was also interviewed by The Book Guys for their National Public Radio Show, broadcast the week of July 27.

Roundtable discussion at Long House Reserve, East Hampton, NY, July 14. Rose Slivka, Moderator. The three panelists are Michael Kimmelman, Chief Art Critic, The New York Times; B. H. Friedman, Author, early collector and biographer of Jackson Pollock, and Minsky.

    A July 1999 MIDI Tango interlude that is crisp, bright and plays for 18 seconds. It requires a fairly good sound card and speakers or it will sound muddy.
